This programme is designed by the Brownlee Brothers very own S&C coach Dane Mitchell.
The plan is for busy triathletes and endurance athletes who wish to incorporate strength and conditioning (S&C) activities into their schedule to support their swim, bike and run training and performance.
Many endurance athletes also lack knowledge in this area and the confidence to implement endurance specific S&C work in a gym environment. With this in mind, we have designed an S&C plan that can be done in the comfort and convenience of your own home, in a time efficient way, without the need for expensive equipment or a gym membership.
To perform this programme, all you require is normal household objects, your own bodyweight and perhaps a resistance band(s).
The programme features mobility, activation, stability and strengthening exercises with the two main purposes of reducing injury risk and improving performance. It is specifically structured to create robustness by strengthening joints and conditioning tissues that can be susceptible to fatigue and injury in the rigorous sport of Triathlon.
