Yes! You want to do a 5k, brilliant, you’ve come to the right place. We’ve put together a training plan to get you to the start line and along the way coached how to enjoy training and learn something about yourself.
This is an 8-week programme and incorporates some easy runs, sessions and long runs to give you a perfect balance into your 5k.
We have given you 4 different time segments, but you can use the pace chart for any time you want to achieve.
If there is not a specific time you want to reach don’t worry, the plan will help you keep motivated and make training fun.
Remember, you can shuffle around your days to suit you. Whilst it is good practice to keep routine and get used to dialling in a schedule, we understand you need to flexible around work, family and social plans.
